This change cannot be improvised; it must be built personally without constantly looking through the lens of others. Living life to the fullest means revisiting one’s goals and personal desires, developing a strategy to achieve the objectives one has set, regaining self-confidence, stopping the habit of always trying to please others, and avoiding the trap of fitting at all costs into professional, family, or social molds just to gain some recognition. Stepping out of one’s comfort zone means fleeing what one hates and taking risks to discover a new life, full of fulfillment and achievements that one does not sufficiently believe in. Our surroundings influence us through different ways of thinking, judging, criticizing, and discouraging, which can drastically alter our perception of whether change is possible. We are the only masters of our future; we do not have to endure it but to build it based on our own feelings, and in doing so, to restore hope and aspirations to future generations.
